BOSTON – Following a five-game homestand, the Boston University men's basketball team will travel to Lafayette for a two-game weekend series. The Terriers and Leopards will meet on Saturday with the ESPN+ broadcast set for 4 p.m. and then in Sunday's rematch at 6 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
Impacted by injuries, BU (1-5, 1-5 PL) has utilized a different starting lineup in all six games to start the season and only has one player to start every game in senior Sukhmail Mathon. On the other end, the Leopards (5-1, 5-1 PL) have had three men start every contest with two others starting all but one game each. The Terriers are 1-0 on the road thanks to an 83-76 season-opening victory at Holy Cross and will try to hand the Leopards their first home loss after Lafayette claimed wins against Lehigh (82-70), Bucknell (87-76) and Loyola Maryland (77-75).
The Terriers lead the all-time series, 14-8, after both home teams won last season by a combined three points. First meeting Lafayette in 1948-49, BU is 12-4 since joining the Patriot League in the summer of 2013.
