Bogatin Claims Second Patriot League Player of the Week Award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After winning both of his matches and helping lead the Boston University men's tennis team to a 4-0 victory at Holy Cross, senior David Bogatin has earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
The announcement marks the second time Bogatin has been recognized this season and third overall. The Los Angeles, California, native first teamed with freshman Johann Sajonz for a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles and then followed up with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles against the Crusaders' Matthew Slowinski.
BU will next head to the Patriot League tournament on April 23-25. The Terriers will open against host and No. 3-seeded Lehigh at 3 p.m. on Friday (April 23) in the quarterfinals with the winner facing either No. 2 Army or No. 7 Loyola on Saturday in the semifinals at 3 p.m. Sunday's final will take place at 12 p.m. Defending PL champion Navy will be the top seed.
