Bogatin Named to Patriot League All-Academic Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Earning further postseason recognition from the Patriot League, senior David Bogatin of the Boston University men's tennis team has been named to the Academic All-League team, the conference announced Thursday.
Bogatin, who was named to the All-Patriot League First Team last week, earns his second career spot on the Academic All-League squad after graduating from the Questrom School of Business with a 3.60 GPA as a business administration and management major.
The senior closed out his career with 86 victories in singles and doubles action. This spring, he posted a 7-1 mark in singles action this spring with a 6-1 record at line 1, and went 4-5 in doubles play.

To be eligible for the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Patriot League awards, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen are not eligible for this honor.
The product of Los Angeles, California is a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete as well as a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection. Furthermore, he was presented with BU's Ray Speare Award, given to the department's top male scholar-athlete at the Rhetty's earlier this month.The senior closed out his career with 86 victories in singles and doubles action.
