Men's Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team; Six Terriers Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors

BOSTON – The Boston University men's tennis team has been recognized as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team with six student-athletes also receiving ITA Scholar-Athlete status.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have at least a 3.50 for the academic year.
The Terriers finished with a 3.00+ GPA for the seventh straight year and ended with a 3.43 GPA. Recent graduate David Bogatin was honored a third time, while Max Hartenstein collected his second award. Rising senior Zak Schneider, sophomore Ben Letzer, Tanisq Mallpani and Jose Maria Robalino were all honored for the first time.
All six men were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll last week with graduate Ethan Kolsky, sophomore Johann Sajonz and sophomore Owen Voigt.
