
Women's Ice Hockey Places 15 on Hockey East All-Academic Team

AMESBURY, Mass. - Fifteen members of the Boston University women's ice hockey team were named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team, the league office announced.
All 15 Terriers achieved a grade-point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two semesters that they competed in during the 2021-22 season. This was the eighth straight year that at least 10 Terriers earned a spot on the Hockey East All-Academic Team. In each of the last seven seasons, BU has earned at least 14 spots on the squad.
Senior Kate Stuart secured Distinguished Scholar status after earning a 3.0 GPA in each semester of her four seasons with the Terriers. She was one of nine Terriers to earn a repeat selection to the squad.
Juniors Brooke Ersoy, Nadia Mattivi and Grace Parker received Hockey East All-Academic recognition for the third straight year while seniors Courtney Correia and Mackenna Parker were also named to the team for the third time. Senior Alex Allan and Emma Wuthrich earned the honor for the second straight season, as did sophomores Catherine Foulem and Lacey Martin.
Graduate student Ellie Larson and senior Jesse DeVito garnered All-Academic accolades in their first year on the team while freshmen Liv Haag, Maggie Hanzel and Callie Shanahan all made the team in their debut seasons.
