
Yaloz Earns Patriot League Player of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Grad student Shelly Yaloz of the Boston University women's tennis team was named the Patriot League Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. The honor is her second of the season.
Yaloz played an impactful role in BU's 6-1 defeat of Patriot League rival Army West Point. She teamed up with sophomore Michelle Kleynerman in the No. 2 doubles spot. The pair earned a 6-2 win to clinch the doubles point for the Terriers and go into singles leading 1-0.
Yaloz also earned a win at the top of the singles lineup. She defeated her opponent in straight sets 7-6, 6-4, to give BU its sixth and final point of the match.
BU will be back in action on Saturday (April 15) when it travels to Navy for an 11 a.m. match.
