AMESBURY, Mass. – Freshman Lola Reid of the Boston University women's ice hockey team was named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday. This marks her second rookie of the week award this season.
 
Reid earned three points in the weekend series against Maine with a goal and two assists. She lit the lamp in BU's 2-1 win over the Black Bears on Friday and assisted on both goals in the 2-0 shutout on Saturday. The Lincoln, Neb., native leads BU in points with eight and is on a three-game points streak.
 
Reid ranks fourth in Hockey East and 37th in the NCAA in points per game. She also leads Hockey East and is second in the NCAA in game winning goals with two.
 
BU travels to Syracuse this weekend (Oct. 25 and 26) for a pair of games. Puck drop on Friday is set for 6 p.m.
