Reid Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week

AMESBURY, Mass. – Freshman Lola Reid of the Boston University women's ice hockey team was selected as the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is her second consecutive and third overall rookie of the week award.
Reid scored three goals in the weekend series at Syracuse which featured the first multi-goal game of her career. In BU's 4-1 win, Reid scored back-to-back goals, including the game winner. The Lincoln, Neb., native was +3 on the weekend.
The freshman is currently on a five-game points streak and leads both BU and Hockey East in goals with six and points with 11.
BU returns home on Friday (Nov. 1) when it hosts Providence for a home-and-home series. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m.
