Women’s Tennis Defeats Rhode Island, 7-0

NEWPORT, R.I.. – The Boston University women's tennis team took down Rhode Island in a 7-0 decision on Saturday.
BU secured the doubles point with wins at lines one and three. Senior Kaitlin Tan and sophomore Emily Zhao defeated their opponents 6-3 while sophomore Rhea Rai and freshman Blanka DeMicheli defeated their opponents 7-5.
BU swept in singles with all six matches earning a point. Each Terrier won in straight sets with senior Victoria Carlsten and junior Michelle Kleynerman winning in a tiebreak in at least one set.
The Terriers will return to their spring schedule on Friday when they face Boston College at 3 p.m.
