BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Juniors

Ellie Gyuro and
Nancy Liu concluded fall competition at the ITA Patriot League Masters on Sunday.
In singles, Gyuro and Liu received byes in the round of 32 as the No. 2 and 1 seed, respectively. Gyuro highlighted BU's singles play with a trip to the finals, winning her round of 16, quarterfinal and semifinal matches in straight sets. She played a close match with Lehigh's Maggie Forkner but ultimately fell, 7-6 (5), 7-5. Liu advanced to the semifinals where she battled through three sets but came up just short, ending her singles path at the tournament.
In doubles, Liu and DeMicheli paired as the No. 1 seeded duo, receiving a bye to the quarterfinal round. The Terriers blanked their opponents from Loyola Maryland, 8-0, to advance to the semifinals. There, they dropped an 8-6 decision to Lehigh.

Gabriella Mikaul will compete in singles. That tournament is slated for Nov. 6-9 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
