  • After senior Will Barnes made his career-best 22nd save of the day on the first possession of overtime, junior Jimmy Kohr scored his team-leading 23rd goal of the season with 2:41 left to give BU its fifth straight win over the Black Knights.
  • Barnes was brilliant all day for BU en route to being named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the third straight week.
  • He enters the week ranked fourth in the nation in save percentage (.625) and seventh in the NCAA in goals-against average (7.89).
  • Freshman Andrew Pape was named both PL Offensive Player of the Week and PL Rookie of the Week after scoring a career-high four goals on Saturday.

  • Pape is the first student-athlete to garner both awards in the same week since Loyola Maryland's Matthew Minicus on March 20, 2023.
  • Sophomore Donald Varnerin was named PL Defensive Player of the Week after he led the Terriers with three caused turnovers and five ground balls against the Black Knights.
  • More impressively, Varnerin helped hold the reigning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, Evan Plunkett, to zero points on an 0-for-12 shooting performance
  • Varnerin and junior Matt Freeman lead BU with 26 ground balls apiece while junior Connor Kehm is third on the team with 25 ground balls.

HISTORY AGAINST HARVARD

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON

  • Harvard enters Tuesday with a 5-3 record after a 13-11 loss at No. 6 Princeton on Saturday.
  • The Crimson owns wins over then-No. 6 Syracuse and then-No. 20 Providence and BU will be the sixth Harvard opponent to receive votes in one of the major national polls.
  • Like the Terriers, Harvard is among the top riding teams in the nation, as the Crimson is third in the NCAA in opponent clear percentage (.735).
