
Kehm, Shannehan Selected as Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-Americans

Shannehan enters the weekend averaging 5.22 points per game, which is third in the nation and first in the Patriot League. He is also tied for 10th in the country in assists per game (2.33) and tied for 16th in the NCAA in goals per game (2.89). Shannehan, who was also an Inside Lacrosse preseason All-American, paces BU in goals (26), assists (21) and points (47). The Fairfield, Connecticut, native is tied for third among all active players with 4.32 points per game and is fifth among all active players with 2.00 assists per game over his career. He enters the weekend with 108 points on 58 goals and 50 assists, matching the program (and likely Patriot League) record for quickest to join the 50-50 club, doing so in 25 games.
One of four captains, Kehm has been an outstanding leader on and off the field for the Terriers. He leads BU with 21 caused turnovers and is second on the squad with 41 ground balls. The Glen Rock, New Jersey, native leads the Patriot League and is tied for seventh in the NCAA with an average of 2.33 caused turnovers per game. Kehm is also seventh in the NCAA and second in the PL among non-faceoff specialists with 4.56 ground balls per game. In addition to his great defensive work, Kehm has totaled three assists and also scored his first collegiate goal on March 24 against Harvard.
