BOSTON – The Boston University women's ice hockey team announced its 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday. The Terriers will play 33 regular season contests, including 24 Hockey East matchups.
BU will kick the year off with an exhibition game against Concordia on Sept. 26 at Walter Brown Arena. It then officially opens the season with a series against Minnesota on Oct. 3- 4 at home. The Terriers then travel for a pair of games at Colgate on Oct. 10-11 before returning home to host Brown on Oct. 17.
The Terriers' first Hockey East game of the year will come against New Hampshire on Oct. 24 at home. BU then plays its first home and home series with Northeastern, hosting the Huskies on Oct. 31 and heading across town on Nov. 1.
BU then embarks on a trip to Maine for games on Nov. 7-8 before returning to Massachusetts for a Nov. 13 game at Boston College. BU will host BC on Nov. 14 at Agganis Arena as the Terriers attempt to break their Hockey East home game attendance record of 2,866, set last season at Agganis against BC.
November's competition will conclude with a home-and-home series against Providence as BU hosts the Friars on Nov. 21 and travels to Providence on Nov. 22. BU then goes to Holy Cross on Dec. 2, followed by a visit to UConn on Dec. 5 before hosting the Huskies on Dec. 6 to close out the first half of the season.
The Terriers head to Northern Ireland to kick off the second half of the season with the Friendship Series in Belfast on Jan. 2-3 with Quinnipiac, Harvard and Minnesota Duluth also participating in the series. BU then comes back stateside for a Jan. 10 game at UNH to resume Hockey East play.
BU hosts the first round of the 43rd Women's Beanpot on Jan. 13 at Walter Brown Arena against defending champion Northeastern, with BC and Harvard playing in the other semifinal. BU will host Holy Cross on Jan. 17 to break up Beanpot action before the third place and championship games on Jan. 20.
With 10 regular season games remaining, BU will see seven different opponents with only two coming in home-and-home series. BU hosts Vermont Jan. 23-24 then visits Merrimack Jan. 30. The Terriers close out the month with a home game against Merrimack on Jan. 31.
On Feb. 5, BU takes a trip to Vermont before coming home to host Maine on Feb. 7. BU sees its crosstown rival for the final time on Feb. 13 at Northeastern and then hosts the UConn Huskies on Feb. 14. The Terriers' last home game of the regular season is set for Feb. 20 against Providence before they close out the schedule on Feb. 21 at BC.
The Hockey East Tournament will begin on Feb. 25 with all 10 schools included.
