ALLSTON, Mass. — The Boston University men's tennis team wrapped up Harvard's Chowderfest at the Beren Tennis Center this weekend.
The Terriers, highlighted by senior
Jakob Esterowitz's 2-0 singles weekend, went 3-4 at singles and 2-1 at doubles against opponents from Cornell and Brown. Esterowitz took down his first opponent from Brown 6-0, 6-3 and then battled in his second match but prevailed, 2-6, 6-1, 6-3.
Sophomore
Payton Jim-On was the only other Terrier to play multiple singles matches, going 1-1. He fell to his Brown opponent in his first match but easily dispatched of his Cornell adversary, 6-2, 6-1 on day two.
On day three, sophomore

Andrew Andea and freshman
Anish Sehgal all dropped matches, though Andea battled through a 6-7 (3), 1-6, 0-1 (5) match.
In doubles, Esterowitz and Jim-On lost their first match but won their second match, 7-6 (6) over their Brown opponents. On day three, junior
Adrian Quiros and sophomore
Ege Topkoc powered their way to a 6-3 victory over a Brown duo for the win.
The Terriers are next slated to head to the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, from Oct. 8 to Oct. 14.
