BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Senior Connor Kehm, sophomore Andrew Pape and sophomore Timothy Shannehan of the Boston University men's lacrosse team were selected to the preseason All-Patriot League Team, as announced on Wednesday.
All three Terriers garnered All-PL honors at the end of last season after they helped guide BU to the program's second straight conference title game.
Kehm, one of three captains this season, was a Second Team All-PL and Second Team All-New England standout at close defense in 2025. He started all 16 games last season, leading the Terriers with a career-high 30 caused turnovers and a career-best 56 ground balls. Kehm became the fourth different Terrier in program history to record 30+ caused turnovers in a single season.
Pape was a Second Team All-PL honoree after an impressive rookie season in the Terrier midfield. He started all 15 games in which he appeared, scoring 17 goals and adding three assists for 20 points. He continued to get better as the year went on, ending the season on four-game goal streak and scoring a goal in eight of his last nine contests.
Shannehan, the reigning Patriot League and ECAC Rookie of the Year, was a First Team All-PL selection after he led all NCAA rookies with 61 points on 32 goals and 29 assists en route to topping Inside Lacrosse's final freshman impact rankings. Inside Lacrosse recently ranked Shannehan 44th among all returning NCAA men's lacrosse players for the 2026 season.
In addition to the three Terriers earning preseason All-PL accolades, the league's coaches picked BU to finish second this season. The Terriers received two first-place votes and totaled 56 points, behind only Army West Point. Navy was selected third, followed by Loyola Maryland, Lafayette, Lehigh, Colgate, Bucknell and Holy Cross.
BU, which came in at No. 17 in the preseason Inside Lacrosse media poll, will open its 2026 campaign at No. 3 Syracuse on Feb. 1.
