
Women's Tennis Rebounds with 7-0 Sweep of Cincinnati

BOSTON - The Boston University women's tennis team bounced back from a tough outing against No. 31 Ohio State with a 7-0 sweep of Cincinnati on Sunday, March 30 at the Queen City Racquet and Fitness Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Terriers improve to 6-5 on the year.
The doubles teams of sophomore Francine Whu and freshman Vanessa Steiner and junior Yana Sadovskaya and sophomore Liz Corrao each won at first and third doubles, respectively, to give BU an early 1-0 lead.
The Terriers rolled through the singles matches, winning four of the six contests in straight sets. Whu and junior Cori Lefkowith each dominated in their matches. Whu defeated Alizee Paradis 6-1, 6-1 in first singles, while Lefkowith claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles over Elizabeth Young.
BU returns to action on Saturday, April 5 when the Terriers travel to North Carolina to play Davidson.
