The freshman class has been strong through the first five games of the season, leading BU in scoring in 4-of-5 contests.
THE BEARS: Brown will be looking to end a two-game skid, following a loss at Long Island, 68-55, and a narrow 58-57 defeat vs. Seton Hall on Saturday in the LIU Turkey Classic. Against Seton Hall, the Bears nearly came back in the final three minutes, as they erased an eight-point deficit and drew to within one with 33 seconds left, however, the Pirates' defense recorded a steal with no time left to hold on for the victory. During that time, she amassed a 51-19 (.729) record in conference action and since taking over the helm at BU she is 9-1 (.900).
Since coming to Boston University in the 2004-05 season, Greenberg has coached the Terriers to an 8-1 record against the Ivy's, with the only loss coming at Harvard last year.
Overall Greenberg is 59-20 (.747) against the league.
MORAN EARNS AE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK (Nov. 30): Freshman Caitlynn `Mo' Moran has earned the Boston University women's basketball team's first America East weekly honor, as she was named the league's Rookie of the Week after posting a career-high 24 points in the Terriers' 83-78 win over Northeastern last week. An underclassman has the led the team in either scoring in each of the Terriers' first five games and they have led on the boards in 4-of-5 contests.

TERRIERS IN THE AMERICA EAST: The Terriers' 3-point defense currently ranks at the top of the AE statistics as it has held opponents to just .227 from behind the arc. Individually, senior Aly Hinton has been impressive from the charity stripe as she has not missed a free throw attempt in 14 chances to rank first in the America East, while freshman Chantell Alford is sixth (.818). Sims led the way with a team-high 17 points, while Moran was three boards shy of a double-double with 10 points and seven boards. Alford chipped in nine points and seven rebounds, as the trio showed a lot of promise in its debut in the scarlet and white.
Moran and Sims' double-digit debut is the first time since 2004-05 that two BU rookies began their careers in double-figures. Five years ago, Cheri Raffo and Corinne Jean debuted with 10 and 14 points, respectively.
Moran is the first rookie to score 20 points in a game since Aly Hinton did it in 2006-07, and the first freshman to score in double-figures in her first two games since Corinne Jean accomplished the feat in 2004-05. She has led the Terriers in scoring in three games this season and has reached double-figures in four contests.
COUNTDOWN TO 1,000: Senior Aly Hinton is the next Terrier in line to reach the 1,000-point plateau. The Richboro, Pa., native is just a mere 159 points away.
GREENBERG NEAR TWO MILESTONES: Greenberg needs just five wins to reach 100 victories in her time at BU and she is 21 away from the 200-win career milestone as a head coach. She is second all-time in program history for victories with 95 and her .590 winning percentage is the program's best in the last 30 years.
