BOSTON-The Boston University women's basketball team plays its first road game of the season on Tuesday night at Harvard's Lavietes Pavilion. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and will be aired live on NESNplus.
STORYLINES
-This is the 31st all-time meeting between the pair, dating back to 1976.
-BU and Harvard have met in each of the 23 seasons.
-The last time they met on Harvard's campus, the Crimson came away with a 76-67 win.
-Both head coaches have been involved with USA Basketball, as Harvard's Kathy Delaney-Smith served as a coach three times throughout the career, including the head coaching gig in 2005 when the team won gold at the World University Games in Turkey.
-Katy Steding was a member of the famed 1996 Women's Dream Team that went a perfect 8-0 to win Olympic Gold.

-Last year, BU won a 63-62 decision against Harvard at Case Gym.

THE TERRIERS
-The Terriers started the season on a three-game skid, dropping contests with Northeastern, Albany and Boston College.
-BU hits the road for the first time on Tuesday but doesn't have far to travel as the Terriers head to Harvard.
-Junior Meghan Green currently leads the team with 7.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
-BU returns nine players from the 2014-15 season and adds five newcomers to this year's squad.
-Last year the Terriers finished with a 5-25 overall record and 2-16 mark in conference action.
-Despite a competitive game, BU's postseason was cut short with a 58-48 loss at Colgate in the Patriot League First Round.
THE CRIMSON
-Harvard started the 2015-16 season 2-2 and enter Tuesday's game after beating Toledo on Sunday at the URI Tip-Off Classic. The Crimson also took a 67-65 win over UMass this season but dropped games to Rhode Island and Maine.
-AnnMarie Healy leads the team with 15.3 ppg and 5.8 rpg. She is closely followed by Shilpa Tummala, who averages 14.7 ppg, averaging 3.3 three-pointers per game.
-Madeline Raster leads the Crimson with 2.8 assists per game.
THE SERIES
-Tuesday marks the 31st meeting between the two teams
-BU tied the series at 15-15 last year with a win at home.
-The Terriers and Crimson have met in each of the last 23 seasons.
GREEN LIGHT
-Junior Meghan Green leads the team in points and rebounds per game for the second-straight season.
-As a sophomore, Green led the team all year and finished with a BU-best 11.5 ppg and 6.7 rpg.
-Currently, the junior leads the Terriers with 7.7 ppg and 5.0 rpg.
COMING TO AMERICA
-Three players on the 2015-16 squad are international student-athletes including two newcomers.
-Senior Clodagh Scannell is the longest-tenured international Terrier, hailing from Cork, Ireland.
-She is joined this year by transfer student Sophie Beaudry, a Quebec, Canada native and freshman Milla Ekstrom from Turku, Finland.
KEEPING IT LOCAL
-The Terriers will not leave New England during the non-conference schedule and face schools only from the Northeast until January.
-BU plays all three Boston-area schools in the first four games of the season, starting with the season opener against NU. Tonight's game against Harvard concludes the tour of Boston.
-In total, the Terriers play six schools from Massachusetts in the first half of their season.
-Every non-conference road game is a day-trip, as the Terriers play at Harvard, Dartmouth, UMass Lowell, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
