BOSTON-The Boston University women's basketball team leaves the Boston area for the first time this season as the Terriers hit the road to Dartmouth for a game on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The game will be aired live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
STORYLINES
-This is the 20th meeting between the pair but they haven't played each other since 1998.
-The last time they met on Dartmouth's campus, BU suffered a 61-39 loss to the Big Green. All time, BU is 7-2 all-time on the road at Dartmouth.
-Both head coaches are new to the position, with Katy Steding entering her second year at the helm of the Terriers and Gail Koziara Boudreaux beginning her third year as the head coach of the Big Green.
-The pair also have ties to the Patriot League, with BU entering its third season in the conference and Koziara Boudreaux coming to Dartmouth from American University, where she served as an assistant coach from 2011-2013.
QUICK HITS
-Despite the loss at Harvard, both Troi Melton and Meghan Green recorded double-doubles against the Crimson on Tuesday.

THE TERRIERS
-The Terriers starts the season on a four-game skid, dropping contests with Northeastern, Albany, Boston College and Harvard.
-BU leaves the Boston area for the first time on Saturday when the Terriers head to Dartmouth.
-Junior Meghan Green currently leads the team with 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, bolstered by a double-double on Tuesday against Harvard.
-BU returns nine players from the 2014-15 season and adds five newcomers to this year's squad.
-Last year the Terriers finished with a 5-25 overall record and 2-16 mark in conference action.
-Despite a competitive game, BU's postseason was cut short with a 58-48 loss at Colgate in the Patriot League First Round.
THE BIG GREEN
-Dartmouth also enters Saturday's game on a four-game skid to start the season. The Big Green suffered losses to Drexel, New Hampshire, McNeese State and Jacksonville.
-Lakin Roland leads the team with 11.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 2.5 apg.
-Kate Letkewicz is close behind with 9.8 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 1.8 apg.
-As a team, the Big Green averages just under 53 points per game, over 12 points fewer than its opponents. They are closer in other metrics, however, averaging four rebounds less than opponents and 0.7 more turnovers.
-Dartmouth has fairly even scoring throughout all four periods, tallying 52, 53, 49 and 56 points from the first through fourth quarter.
THE SERIES
-Saturday's game marks the 20th meeting between Dartmouth and Boston University.
-The Terriers lead the series, 13-6, but the pair has not met since the 1998-99 season.
-BU is 7-2 when playing on the Dartmouth campus.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE TROUBLE
-Troi Melton and Meghan Green each recorded a double-double against Harvard on Tuesday, the first time a BU player has reached the benchmark this season.
-Green led the Terriers with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Melton tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds.
-Tuesday marked the first double-double of Melton's career while Green collected her fifth during her Terrier tenure.
GREEN LIGHT
-Junior Meghan Green leads the team in points and rebounds per game for the second-straight season.
-As a sophomore, Green led the team all year and finished with a BU-best 11.5 ppg and 6.7 rpg.
-Currently, the junior leads the Terriers with 10.3 ppg and 6.3 rpg.
COMING TO AMERICA
-Three players on the 2015-16 squad are international student-athletes including two newcomers.
-Senior Clodagh Scannell is the longest-tenured international Terrier, hailing from Cork, Ireland.
-She is joined this year by transfer student Sophie Beaudry, a Quebec, Canada native and freshman Milla Ekstrom from Turku, Finland.
STEDING STATS
-Katy Steding enters her second season at the helm of the Terriers.
-Prior to heading to Boston, Steding spent two seasons as an assistant coach at California, one season as the associate head coach at San Francisco, and one season at Columbia.
-Though her first gig at the Division I level, Steding spent seven seasons as the head coach at Warner Pacific College (NAIA).
-Prior to her coaching career, Steding played in the WNBA, ABA and for Team USA, with whom she won a gold medal in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
-The Oregon native played college ball at Stanford and led the Cardinal to its first-ever National Championship in 1990. She was named the MVP in the win.
MELTON MOST IMPROVED
-Senior Troi Melton finished last season on a hot streak, averaging 10.5 points per game over the final 13 games of the season. She was named the team's Most Improved Player by the coaching staff following the season.
-During that span, Melton was in double-figures in eight games including including two 20-point games.
-The Bronx, N.Y. native set a career high against eventual Patriot League Champion American, scoring 23 points in last season's meeting.
-This year, Melton is second on the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 8.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg.
KEEPING IT LOCAL
-The Terriers will not leave New England during the non-conference schedule and face schools only from the Northeast until January.
-BU played all three Boston-area schools in the first four games of the season, playing Northeastern and Boston College at home and at Harvard on Tuesday.
-In total, the Terriers play six schools from Massachusetts in the first half of their season.
-Every non-conference road game is a day-trip, as the Terriers play at Harvard, Dartmouth, UMass Lowell, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
