TERRIER TIDBITS
• Ally Adams is the team’s points leader with 33 so far this season, totaling 23 goals and 10 assists. Mickenzie Larivee leads the team in goals with 27 so far this season while Taylor Hardison has the most assists, dishing out 24 in 2016.
• Jill Horka leads the team in draw controls after grabbing four or more in seven of the last 11 games. After setting a new season standard in the category last year (68), Horka has 57 so far in 2016 and took over as the BU all-time leader against Lehigh.
• Five Terriers have 20 or more points so far this season, including Adams (33), Larivee (32), Collins (31), Hardison (29) and Horka (21).
• After making it to the PL Championship semifinal round last season, the Terriers were again picked to finish third in the conference this season. BU was a No. 4 seed in the tournament with the 4th-best regular season record (5-3).
• BU returns six of BU’s seven top-scorers including Collins, who led the team with 40 points (38g, 2a) last season.
• All 7 seniors were picked as captains this season after deciding as a class that they all wanted to take on the leadership role.
BU IN PATRIOT LEAGUE STANDINGS
• Overall the Terriers are currently ranked fifth in the league with a Patriot League record of 4-3.
• In the statistical standings, BU ranks third in goals (11.57), second in assists (5.5) and second in points (17.07) per game. The Terriers also lead the conference in shots per game (29.71) and rank second in shots on goal per game (20.57), leading to one of the most aggressive attacking team in the conference.
• Defensively, BU leads the conference in saves per game, making 9.71 on average each contest. This is thanks to Caroline Meegan, who currently leads the conference in save percentage (.498) and leads the league by a mile with 9.91 saves per game.
• BU’s strength on attack comes from its variety of scorers, as the highest-ranking Terrier in goals per game is Mallory Collins, who is tied for eighth with an average 2.0 per game. No one on BU ranks in the top-10 in points per game.
• With 57 already this season, Jill Horka ranks second in the conference in draw controls, averaging 4.1 per game. She also ranks fourth in the Patriot League in caused turnovers with 1.6 per game this year.
SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
• Holy Cross is currently 2-12 this season, winning both games in conference play. They currently do not have a win on the road yet this year.

THE SERIES
• The Terriers have a dominant, 8-1 lead in the series with Holy Cross, which dates back to 1984.
• The only time BU has ever lost to the Crusaders was in 1996 when the Terriers returned the women’s lacrosse team to varsity status after nearly a decade-long haitus.
• Holy Cross did give the Terriers a scare last season, however, forcing overtime before ultimately succumbing to a 9-8 BU victory.
THE PATRIOT LEAGUE PICTURE
• BU’s toughest conference opponents are behind them as the Terriers have just Holy Cross and Army West Point left to play.
• Holy Cross is 2-4 in conference play while Army West Point is still winless against Patriot League opponents.
• With Bucknell as one of the teams ahead of the Terriers in the current PL standings, the Terriers still have a chance to move up in the rankings and host a quarterfinal game, as the Bison have the toughest part of their schedule ahead of them, playing top-ranked Loyola Maryland and No. 2 Navy while the Terriers play the bottom of the standings.
HORKA BECOMES ALL-TIME DRAW CONTROL LEADER
• After setting the BU season record last season, senior midfielder Jill Horka surpassed Sarah Dalton ’09 to become the all-time draw control leader with 202 grabs and counting.
• The Westborough, Mass. native originally cracked the top-10 last year against Lehigh during the regular season and surpassed the previous season record against the Mountain Hawks when the teams met again in the PL Tournament.
• Horka grabbed two draw controls against Lehigh this season to surpass Dalton and has at least three more games to increase that number. Her total currently ranks fifth in the Patriot League record book and, with an average of 4.1 per game, is on track to move up to third all-time by the end of the regular season. The conference record currently stands at 493.
