DURHAM, N.H. - A four-goal opening half proved to be enough for the No. 17 Boston University field hockey team on Sunday as the Terriers claimed the Wildcat Classic title with a 4-3 victory over tournament host New Hampshire at Memorial Field. BU got goals from four different players and senior goalkeeper Cammy Jensen made six saves en route to being named the tournament's most outstanding player.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- BU broke a 2-2 tie with a go-ahead goal by sophomore Kara Enoch and took a 4-2 lead into halftime after senior Taylor Blood scored with 1:04 left in the opening half.
- UNH got one back just under 13 minutes into the second half but Jansen and the BU defense held its ground, allowing just three shots after halftime.
- The Wildcats opened the scoring with a goal at the 8:40 mark but the lead did not last long as sophomore Ally Hammel sent home her own rebound off a corner exactly 100 seconds after UNH's tally.
- Just over two minutes later, senior Amanda Cassera gave BU a 2-1 lead off a shot right in front of the UNH goal. Sophomore Allie Doggett set up the tally to earn her first collegiate point.
- UNH created the second deadlock of the contest at the 16:52 mark before Enoch scored the eventual game-winner at 28:50 with a blast from the right side following a pass by senior Sara Martineau from the middle of the circle.
- BU's fourth and final goal was the result of a shot from the top of the circle that was deflected high into the air. Positioned in front of the goal, Cassera reached for the elevated ball and tipped it towards Blood, who was at the right post to send it home for what proved to be the difference maker.
