The Boston University women's basketball team will conclude its brief two-game homestand on Sunday when it hosts Lafayette at Case Gym. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
BU (4-10, 2-1 PL) will look to improve to 3-1 in conference play and earn its fourth win in its last five games. Lafayette (1-14, 0-3 PL) is in search of its first win since its season opener, having lost 14 straight games entering Sunday.

HEARTBREAKER AGAINST NAVY
- BU erased an 11-point halftime deficit to take a lead into the fourth quarter, but a late Navy jumper put the Mids ahead for good and helped seal a 62-59 victory at Case Gym on Friday night.
- The Terriers had two different tries to take the lead in the final seconds, but Navy stood strong defensively.
- Senior Sarah Hope matched her career high with seven 3-pointers, which accounted for all of her game-high 21 points.
- Junior Sophie Beaudry recorded a double-double thanks to 11 points and 11 rebounds while sophomore Naiyah Thompson tallied 10 points to go along with seven boards.
LIGHTS OUT FROM DOWNTOWN
- BU shot over 60 percent from three-point range on Friday against Navy.
- The Terriers were 8-of-13 from beyond the arc, paced by senior Sarah Hope's impressive 7-for-11 performance.
- It was the first time the Terriers shot over 50 percent from downtown in a game since a 7-of-13 clip (53.8%) in a 71-58 win at Colgate on Feb. 17, 2016
HOPE WITH THE HOT HAND
- Senior Sarah Hope matched a career best with seven treys on Friday night.
- She had previously recorded seven three-pointers on Dec. 9, 2015, at Rhode Island.
- Hope nearly set a new career high for points in a game as well; her 21 on Friday were two shy of her single-game best of 23, also set on that date against URI.
DOMINATING THE GLASS
- For the third straight game, BU out-rebounded its opponent.
- The Terriers grabbed 44 boards on Friday night against Navy, holding the Mids to just 32.
- It was also the third straight contest that saw BU collect at least 40 rebounds.
- BU secured 46 boards this past Monday at Lehigh and also had 43 rebounds at Holy Cross.
SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS
- Lafayette is on a 14-game losing streak, with its lone win coming in its season opener.
- The Leopards have lost two straight overtime games, including a triple-overtime defeat at Army West Point on Thursday, 76-73.
- Anna Ptasinski leads Lafayette in scoring at 8.1 points per game.
- Olivia Gumbs is the team's top rebounder (6.1 rpg) and is tied for second in scoring with Sammy Stipa (6.9 ppg).
- Stipa also averages 2.87 assists per game to lead the squad.

- BU leads the series, 10-5.
- The last time the two teams met, the Terriers fell to the Leopards, 71-64, on Feb. 6, 2016, at Case Gym.
- Meghan Green led BU with 18 points while Sarah Hope (14 pts) and Corrine Williams (10 pts) also reached double figures.
