LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Boston University women's swimming & diving team posted three top-five finishes during the second day of the Patriot League Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.
BU completed day two in second place with 239 points, 43 points clear of third-place Army West Point. Navy leads with 299 points.
Junior Grace Anderson and sophomore Erin Nabney both finished in fourth in their respective finals on Thursday. Anderson had a time of 4:51.67 in the 500 free while Nabney swam the 200 IM in 2:02.66. Senior Sarah Hargrave took sixth in the 500 free with a time of 4:53.64 and freshman Meghan Egan finished eighth in the 200 IM (2:05.35).
In the 50 free, sophomore Julimar Avila finished sixth with a time of 23.34 seconds. Avila also swam in the 400 medley relay with Nabney and two seniors, Isabella Olivares and Christy Wilde. The foursome finished fourth with a time of 3:47.83.
The Terriers will head back into the pool on Friday for day three, with prelims beginning at 10 a.m.
