
Farabee Earns Second Hockey East Rookie of the Week Honor

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - For the second time this month, freshman Joel Farabee of the Boston University men's ice hockey team has been named the Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
After recording two assists in a 7-2 conference victory over Merrimack last Monday, Farabee notched a pair of goals, including the game winner, in a 4-2 triumph over then-No. 17/15 Arizona State on Friday. That capped a stretch in which the winger tallied 13 points (5g, 8a) over nine games.
Farabee currently ranks second on the Terriers in points (20), assists (12) and shots (77) this season. His 20 points are tied for fourth among Hockey East rookies.
Farabee was also named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Jan. 14.
