
Gallagher Earns Spot on 2019 NFHCA Division I Senior Game Roster

GILBERT, Ariz. - The 2019 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Senior Game roster was announced on Wednesday and senior midfielder Kiley Gallagher (Palmyra, Pa.) was one of 38 student-athletes selected nationwide as a participant for the contest, which will be held on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at Wake Forest University following the NCAA semifinals.
Gallagher, a co-captain for the Terriers, has tallied 28 points during her BU career with eight goals and 12 assists. A two-time All-Patriot League selection, Gallagher has also been named to the Patriot League All-Tournament Team in each of the past two seasons after helping BU claim back-to-back titles. The versatile midfielder was a Preseason All-PL pick this fall for the second straight year and she is a two-time member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
This gives the Terriers 15 players in the past 13 seasons who have earn a spot on a Senior Game roster, joining Ally Hammel (2018), Kali Shumock (2017), Amanda Cassera (2016), Ellie Landsman (2016), Valentina Cerda Eimbcke (2014), Ysi Schieb (2013), Jess Maroney (2012), Nicole van Oosterom (2012), Kate Murphy (2011), Allie Dolce (2010), Amanda Smith (2010), Nikki Lloyd (2009), Sarah Shute (2007) and Pam Spuehler (2007).
The Senior Game contest will be played following the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Tournament, which take place on Nov. 22. The NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship will be held on Nov. 24.
