The No. 14 Boston University men's ice hockey team will continue its 100th season this weekend when the Terriers travel to Maine for a weekend series against the Black Bears. Puck drop for both Friday and Saturday is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
This is the final weekend of the regular season in Hockey East and the Terriers have plenty to play for, as they can finish anywhere from second to sixth in the league standings. A spot in the top four will guarantee them a home quarterfinal game next weekend. If the Terriers finish fifth, they will be on the road to face the fourth-place team in a quarterfinal matchup. A sixth-place finish means the Terriers will host an opening-round game on Wednesday against the last-place squad, which could could mean a third straight game against the Black Bears.
- BU had its eight-game win streak snapped at Boston College on Sunday, as the teams split last weekend's series.
- Junior Domenick Fensore finished the weekend with four assists, including three in Saturday's 6-3 victory at Agganis, to extend his point streak to seven games.
- Fensore garnered Hockey East Defender of the Month honors after he led the Terriers with an incredible 10 assists, tied for second in the NCAA, and 11 blocked shots.

- Junior Wilmer Skoog lit the lamp in both games against the Eagles and now leads BU with 12 goals.
- Skoog is also second on the squad in both points (26) and assists (14).
- Sophomore Drew Commesso started for the Terriers on Sunday in his first appearance since returning from the Olympics.
- BU has gone 9-for-28 on the power play during the last nine games, converting at an impressive 32.1% with the man advantage.
