HOW IT HAPPENED
- Quinnipiac scored the opening goal 4:04 into the game, but Barry responded less than a minute later, scoring after a pump-fake in front off a pass from Isaacson.
- Isaacson found Lucchese by the left post with just over six minutes gone by in the game, and the redshirt junior's cross-body shot tucked into the bottom-right corner for a 2-1 BU edge.
- After the Bobcats scored two consecutive goals, the Terriers did the same on strikes from Sims and Spaeth to go ahead 4-3.
- Iaccino lit the lamp for Quinnipiac with 1:49 to go in the first, but Agres denied Kleberg on the doorstep to keep the game tied after one quarter.
- Sims and Spaeth went back-to-back for the second time of day within 34 seconds, giving BU the first two-goal lead at 6-4 with four minutes down in the second.
- However, the Bobcats kept the Terriers scoreless the rest of the stanza, and potted three goals in the final 8:40 to go up 7-6 at halftime.
- The Quinnipiac run extended to five straight before Sims' free position strike sliced BU's deficit to 9-7 with 9:12 left in the third.
- BU entered the fourth quarter down 11-7, but Kaye scored three goals within the first 3:03 of the period to get the Terriers within 12-10.
- Sims notched her fourth goal, then Spaeth found Isaacson on a woman-up chance to tie the game at 12 with 9:28 to go.
- Just 43 seconds later, Delmond found the back of the net at the 8:45 mark to give the lead back to the Bobcats.
- A minute later, freshman Abby Cotraro earned a free position attempt from the left side of the arc, but her attempt was denied by Henselder.
- The Terriers had a chance to tie the game with 45 seconds left, but Henselder stopped Spaeth's free position shot. BU retained possession, but Delmond caused a turnover before the Terriers could rip another shot.
