December 22, 2023 | Men's Ice Hockey
The Boston University men's ice hockey team's game at Northeastern on Jan. 30 will be nationally televised on ESPNU, as announced on Friday.
Opening faceoff for that Tuesday night tilt is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. BU will have an additional opportunity to play in front of a national television audience during the NCAA Tournament, as all regional games as well as the Frozen Four will be broadcast live on ESPNU or ESPN2. The Jan. 30 tilt will remain on ESPN+, where fans can watch all games that take place at Hockey East rinks.
The Terriers went undefeated in their two appearances on ESPNU last season. They defeated Notre Dame, 5-2, at Agganis on Nov. 23, 2022 before earning a 2-1 win over Cornell in the NCAA Manchester Regional final on March 25.
BU will return to the ice on Friday, Dec. 29, when the Terriers trek to New Haven, Connecticut, to face Yale. That game will also be on ESPN+, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.
