TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is back home after a weekend series at then-No. 7 Maine on Nov. 15 and 16.
- After a 5-2 loss on Friday night, the Terriers rallied for a 2-2 tie and a shootout win on Saturday night.
- Sophomore co-captain Shane Lachance equalized with 20.6 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime.
- Senior Mathieu Caron (30 saves) held Maine scoreless in the shootout, including a blocker save in the fourth and final round that set the stage for junior co-captain Ryan Greene's heroics, as he scored on the next shot to give BU the extra point in the Hockey East standings.
- For the second time this season, freshman Cole Eiserman was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday.
- Eiserman recorded a point in each game this past weekend at Maine, collecting an assist on Friday before lighting the lamp in Saturday's 2-2 tie.
- The reigning Hockey East Rookie of the Month, Eiserman leads all league rookies and is tied for second among all Hockey East skaters with seven goals.
- Thirteen different Terriers have lit the lamp this season after sophomore Doug Grimes became the latest Terrier to score a goal last Friday at Maine.
- Caron's next appearance will be the 100th of his collegiate career, with exactly half of those soon-to-be 100 appearances coming with the Terriers.
- Senior Matt Copponi has recorded four points over his last three games

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS

- That defeat came off the heels of a weekend sweep of UConn on Nov. 8-9.
- After being shutout in three of four games from Oct. 18-Nov. 2, the Warriors have averaged 4.0 goals per game over their last three tilts.
- Junior defenseman Zach Bookman leads the Warriors in assists (4) and points (5).
- Sophomore Ethan Bono, freshman Caelan Fitzpatrick and graduate student Antonio Venuto are all tied for the team lead in goals with three.
- Four different netminders have started a game this season, with freshman Max Lundgren starting five of his team-high six appearances.
- Lundgren, who only played the first period against Stonehill, is 2-2-0 with a 2.92 goals-against average and an .898 save percentage.
- Sophomore Nils Wallström, a transfer from AIC who relieved Lundgren in that Stonehill game, is 1-2-0 this season with a 3.69 GAA and an .868 save percentage.
- BU and Merrimack will meet again next Friday (Nov. 29), but that game will be in Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the first game of the 2024 Friendship Four.
- Harvard and Notre Dame are the other two teams who will travel across the Atlantic to compete for the Belpot.
- Next Friday's game between the Terriers and the Warriors is scheduled for 9 a.m. ET and can be seen on NESN, ESPN+ and TSN+.
