
Turer Named Director of Hockey Operations

BOSTON - Boston University men's ice hockey head coach Jay Pandolfo announced on Thursday that Gaby Turer has been hired as the program's director of hockey operations.
Turer arrives at BU after spending the past season as the Brendan Burke Intern with USA Hockey's National Team Development Program. In that role, Turer served as the hockey operations manager for the U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team, helping them win a silver medal at the 2024 IIHF World Under-18 Championship. She was also on staff with the U.S. National Under-17 Team that finished second at the 2023 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

Prior to her time with USA Hockey, Turer spent 11 months as a hockey operations and scouting intern for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL where she was responsible for scouting opposing USHL teams, conducting individual player evaluations and producing scouting reports. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native is a 2023 graduate of St. Norbert College, where she earned a degree in business administration while playing four seasons for the women's ice hockey team (2019-23). Additionally, Turer was a three-time AHCA All-American Scholar.
