Women’s Soccer Heads to Lehigh on Saturday

BOSTON – For its final regular season road contest, the Boston University women's soccer program travels to Lehigh on Saturday (Oct. 25). Opening kick is set for 1 p.m.
 
BU (8-4-3, 5-1-1 PL) enters the match on a five-game winning streak and four-game shutout streak. The Terriers last played a road game on Oct. 11 at Bucknell and are 4-3-1 away from home this season.
 
Lehigh (3-8-3, 1-5-1) has lost four of its last five matches but won its most recent Patriot League contest. The Mountain Hawks have yet to win at the Ulrich Sports Complex in 2025.
 
Saturday's contest airs on ESPN+ at the top of the hour. Live statistics are available through the Lehigh athletic department while the Patriot League provides an international stream.
 
TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU recently dispatched American 6-0 last Saturday (Oct. 18) at Nickerson Field, setting a season high in goals.
  • Seniors Helene Tyburczy, Giulianna Gianino and Shayla Brown, sophomores Juliana Osterman and Olivia Avellar and freshman Nina Tzouganatos all found the back of the net.
  • The Terriers have not allowed a goal in the last 386:24 of play.

  • Aminah Baruwa and Faith Dobosiewicz each sport a team-high six points.
  • Lehigh was projected to finish tied for eighth in the Patriot League preseason poll.
  • Last season, the Mountain Hawks went 3-9-5 with a 2-6-1 conference record.
SERIES HISTORY
  • Saturday marks the 14th all-time meeting between BU and Lehigh in a series that began in 2013.
  • The Terriers sport an 8-1-4 record in the rivalry, going unbeaten in the last five contests.
