Boisvert Named Hockey East Player of the Week

AMESBURY, Mass. — Sophomore Sacha Boisvert of the Boston University men's ice hockey team was named the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Boisvert, a Trois-Rivières, Quebec native, notched a career-high four assists in the 5-4 win over Merrimack on Saturday (Nov. 8), which also represented a career-high in points for the forward. Three of his four assists were the primary assist, directly playing a hand in the Terriers' success in the win. He is one of four players in the NCAA to have notched four assists in one game this season and is the only Hockey East player to have achieved the feat this year.

In his first season with the Terriers, Boisvert has tallied nine points off eight assists and a goal in eight games.

Next up, the Terriers will head to No. 10 Quinnipiac on Saturday (Nov. 15) for a matchup with the Bobcats. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m.
