Women’s Basketball Travels to New Haven on Saturday

BOSTON – Continuing its three-game road swing, the Boston University women's basketball program heads to the Nutmeg State to face New Haven on Saturday (Nov. 15). Opening tip is set for 3:30 p.m.
BU (1-2) leaves the Commonwealth for the first time this season. The Terriers look to win their second consecutive non-conference road matchup for the first time since wins over Le Moyne and UMass Lowell on Dec. 1 and Dec. 12, 2024.
New Haven (1-2) hosts its second home game against a Division I opponent this year. The Chargers are amid a four-game homestand, going 1-1 so far.

- BU picked up its first win of the year in a 61-57 victory at Northeastern on Nov. 11.
- The Terriers rallied from a 14-point, fourth quarter deficit by ending the game on a 12-0 run over 4:51.
- Sophomore Hildur Gunnsteinsdóttir scored a career high 15 points in her first career start.
- Senior Anete Adler and junior Bella McLaughlin added 10 points.
- So far this season, BU ranks second in the Patriot League with 4.3 blocks per game and a .323 three-point percentage.

- Schuyler Coles and Lindsay Hogan average 10.7 and 10 points per game, respectively, to pace the Chargers.
- Junior Eveani Okwuosa is the sister of BU men's basketball graduate student Ethan Okwuosa.
- Debbie Buff is in her seventh season at New Haven and has 300 career coaching wins.
- Saturday marks the first all-time meeting between BU and New Haven.
- Under head coach Melissa Graves, BU is 5-0 against NEC opponents, including two wins over Le Moyne and Merrimack (prior to the latter's move to the MAAC).
