BOSTON – Following its three-game road swing, the Boston University women's basketball program begins a two-game homestand on Saturday (Nov. 22), hosting UMass Lowell. Opening tip from Case Gym is set for 2 p.m.

BU (2-3) seeks its first win at "The Roof" this year after falling in its opening two matchups to Quinnipiac and Dartmouth. The Terriers have allowed just 58.8 points per game at home so far.

UMass Lowell (2-2) is set to conclude a four-game road stretch. Three of those games have taken place in Massachusetts, however. To this point, the River Hawks are 1-2 on the road.

Saturday's game airs on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Reed Keller and Caitlin Beal on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.

BU hosts its annual Pride Game as well as Youth Day at Case Gym. Admission is free for kids in eighth grade and below. In addition to pride decals and a rally towel giveaway, BU's student-led Athlete Ally chapter is collecting new, unopened essential item donations such as cleaning products, household goods and hygiene products in conjunction with The Home for Little Wanderers.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU sustained a 57-54 loss at Brown on Nov. 19 to conclude its three-game road swing.
The Terriers trailed by as many as 13 points before coming back to lead by one but were held scoreless in the final 4:33 of regulation.
Senior Anete Adler led all scorers with 15 points while snagging seven rebounds.
Juniors Bella McLaughlin and Audrey Ericksen each added 11 points for the second straight game.
Under head coach Melissa Graves, BU is 47-19 at Case Gym in her four-plus seasons.
Seven Terriers are scoring at least five points per game, with Adler's 13 points per contest pacing the squad and ranking 11th in the Patriot League.
In three out of five games this season, BU has overcome a double-digit, second-half deficit to tie or take the lead in the fourth quarter.
During BU's road swing, McLaughlin scored 21 of her 31 points in the fourth quarter.
Ericksen and sophomore Hildur Gunnsteinsdóttir both rank in the top-seven in the Patriot League in three-point percentage.

SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL

UMass Lowell is coming off an 85-45 loss at UMass on Nov. 18.
The River Hawks' lone Division I win was at CCSU, 70-54.
Jaini Edmonds is the lone River Hawk in double figures with 10.5 points per game.
Head coach Jon Plefka is in his first season at the helm.
Assistant coach Erica Balman is in her first year at UMass Lowell after spending last year as BU's director of basketball operations.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday marks the 11th all-time meeting between BU and UMass Lowell in a series that began in 1976.
The Terriers sport an 8-2 edge in the rivalry, winning five in a row.
This will be the seventh matchup since the River Hawks transitioned to the Division I level and the fifth straight year both sides play each other.
Last year, the Terriers triumphed in Lowell, 62-55.
Allison Schwertner and Alex Giannaros each posted 13 points, with the former grabbing 12 rebounds. McLaughlin registered 10 points.
