HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bryant's defense coaxed five Terrier turnovers in the game's opening 3:03 while the offense made its first four shots, three from Mancini, to sport a 10-2 lead at the 6:57 mark in the first quarter.
- The Bulldogs would shoot over 72 percent (13-for-18) in the opening stanza for a 31-11 advantage.
- BU sliced the deficit to 16 points on multiple instances in the second quarter with junior Sisi Bentley's basket 58 seconds into the frame and five consecutive points via Adler at the midpoint, the latter sequence pulling BU within 38-22.
- Adams canned back-to-back threes that BU countered with layups from senior Anastasiia Semenova and Adler, but Scott's floater replenished Bryant's lead to 20 points at halftime, 46-26.
- That Bulldog run expanded to nine straights out of the third quarter, with Mancini's right-wing triple handing Bryant its largest lead of the game at the time, 53-26, with 7:28 on the clock.
- Semenova responded with BU's first three-pointer of the game on the next possession. Sophomore Rose Azmoudeh knocked down a triple to close the gap to 60-35, but Bryant capped the third on a 13-2 run to make it 73-37.
- Bryant led by as many as 40 points in the fourth quarter after Scott collected her own miss following sophomore Allison Schwertner's block and put it back in to make it 78-38.
- Freshman Kate Allard scored her first collegiate point at the 5:29 mark on a foul shot as the Terriers scored 18 of the game's final 23 points.
- Bryant also made nearly 55 percent of its three-point shots (12-for-22).
- BU shot 40.4 percent from the field.
- The Bulldogs won the edge in paint points (42-36), points off turnovers (25-14) and second-chance points (17-13).
- Both teams corralled 12 offensive rebounds. Bryant had the advantage overall, 35-26.
- Semenova led the Terriers with five boards.
- Adler has led BU in scoring across five games this year.
- McLaughlin has reached double figures in four of her last five contests.
- Bryant won its first matchup against BU, though the Terriers have a 2-1 edge in the all-time series.
- BU ignites a three-game road swing on Monday (Dec. 1), visiting Maine. Opening tip is scheduled for 6 p.m.
