BOSTON – For its 2025-26 non-conference road finale, the Boston University women's basketball program heads to UAlbany on Saturday (Dec. 13). Opening tip is slated for 2 p.m.

BU (3-6) seeks to end its three-game losing streak while concluding its final three-game road swing on the year. The Terriers are 2-3 in road contests this year.

UAlbany (8-2) seeks to boost its winning streak to six games. The Great Danes last hosted a Division I opponent at the Broadview Center on Nov. 19.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU sustained an 82-40 loss at No. 10/11 North Carolina on Sunday (Dec. 7).
The Terriers sustained season-lows in scoring (40 points) and shooting percentage (28.9 percent).
Sophomore Hildur Gunnsteinsdóttir paced the Terriers with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting for the second consecutive game.
Gunnsteinsdóttir leads three Terriers who rank in the top 10 in the Patriot League in three-point percentage at 43.5 percent, good for second.
Juniors Inés Monteagudo Pardo (39.3 percent) and Audrey Ericksen (37.5 percent) are sixth and ninth, respectively.
As a team, the Terriers are shooting over 35 percent from distance in road games this season.
Gunnsteinsdóttir paces the team with a 52.9 percent clip (9-for-17) in such contests.
Junior Bella McLaughlin is tied for seventh in the conference with 3.2 assists per game.
BU is 1-2 so far against the America East this year, defeating UMass Lowell but falling to Maine and Bryant.

SCOUTING UALBANY

The Great Danes most recently dispatched Colgate, 55-41, on Dec. 8 in Hamilton, N.Y.
UAlbany is 2-0 against Patriot League foes this season, also defeating Bucknell on the road in overtime, 65-62.
Freshman Amaya Stewart paces the Great Danes with 13.9 points per game and 13 blocks. Sophomore Delanie Hill averages 13.3 points on 47.8 percent shooting from distance.
UAlbany was projected to finish fourth in the America East preseason poll behind Maine and Bryant.
Last season, the Great Danes went 26-7 and 14-2 in conference play, reaching the America East title game and playing in the WBIT.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday marks the 31st all-time meeting between BU and UAlbany in a series that began in 2000.
BU sports a 20-10 edge in the rivalry from its tenure in the America East.
However, the Great Danes have won six of the last seven contests.
The Terriers are 10-4 on the road against UAlbany.
Both sides met last season at Case Gym on Dec. 10, where the Great Danes won 72-36 after holding BU to 29.2 percent shooting.
