BOSTON – For its 2025-26 non-conference finale, the Boston University women's basketball program welcomes UMaine Fort Kent to Case Gym on Saturday (Dec. 20). Opening tip is set for noon.

BU (3-7) plays its first home game since Nov. 26 following a three-game road stretch. The Terriers aim to snap their four-game losing streak.

UMaine Fort Kent (7-3), who plays in Division I of the USCAA, has alternated wins and losses in its last five contests. The Bengals will play their second NCAA Division I program this season.

Saturday's game airs on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Jack Hughes and Claire Chen on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU sustained a 62-46 loss at UAlbany on Saturday (Dec. 13).
The Terriers could not overcome a 22-8 deficit after the first quarter in their fourth consecutive loss.
Sophomore Allison Schwertner led BU with 15 points on 50 percent shooting with seven rebounds.
Classmate Taylor Williams set a career high with 14 points, including 11 straight in the second quarter, with a trio of three-pointers.
Schwertner has led BU in scoring across 10 games in her career, tied with senior Anete Adler for most on the roster.
Junior Bella McLaughlin is sixth in the Patriot League with 3.4 assists per game.
As a team, the Terriers rank second in the Patriot League with 3.3 blocks per game and third with 61.7 points allowed per game.
BU is third in Division I with just 11.8 fouls per game. Dartmouth, who BU played back on Nov. 7, is first.

SCOUTING UMAINE FORT KENT

The Bengals most recently defeated UMass Boston on the road, 76-71.
UMaine Fort Kent played UMass Lowell back on Nov. 30 and fell 82-36.
In the USCAA Division I Week 2 national poll, the Bengals were ranked third behind defending national champion North American University and Paul Quinn College.
Last year, UMaine Fort Kent went 11-12 while reaching the first round of the USCAA Small College National Championship.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday marks the first all-time meeting between BU and UMaine Fort Kent.
The Terriers will face their second-ever Maine-based opponent, with the Black Bears being the other program.
