Hutson Named Hockey East Player of the Week
February 3, 2025 | Men's Ice Hockey
AMESBURY, Mass. - Junior Quinn Hutson of the Boston University men's ice hockey team was named Hockey East Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Hutson recorded his third collegiate hat trick on Friday in the Terriers' 7-2 win over then-No. 18/16 New Hampshire. He also added an assist to complete a four-point night in which he was a plus-4.
This is the second time this month that Hutson has been recognized as the league's Player of the Week, having also earned the honor on Jan. 13. Hutson has recorded a point in seven of his last nine games and is one of just six players in the country to have 15 goals and 15 assists. He is six points shy of 100 for his career, entering Monday with 48 goals and 46 assists for 94 points. Hutson would become the program's first 50-goal scorer since Ahti Oksanen scored 51 from 2012-16.
