TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU dropped to 1-2 in overtime games this season after dropping a tightly-contested 93-91 decision to Lehigh this past Wednesday.
- The Terriers had two double-doubles in the same game for the first time since the 2022-23 season. Sophomore Ben Defty claimed his fourth of the year with a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman Chance Gladden earned his first off 10 points and career-high 12 assists.
- With his performance in the post, Defty now leads the team at 6.6 rpg while averaging 13.9 ppg. He now ranks sixth nationally shooting 66.7 FG% and is 88th at 26 blocks.
- Gladden averages a team-high 4.5 apg and is third on the team at 12.6 ppg after becoming the first Terrier since the 2016-17 campaign to earn a points-assists double-double. He leads the Patriot League shooting 89.1 percent from the free throw line.
- Junior Michael McNair posted 24+ points for the third straight contested to increase his scoring average to 17.0 ppg. He ranks third nationally shooting 49.6 percent from behind the arc and is fifth at 62 made 3-pointers.
- BU is 3-7 away from Case Gym, most recently posting an 83-67 win at Lafayette following an 82-77 loss at Patriot League preseason favorite Navy.
- Overall, BU is averaging 76.8 ppg and 49.5 FG% while holding opponents to 76.7 ppg and 47.7 FG%.
- The Greyhounds are 3-4 at home compared to their 2-9 away mark with wins over PSU Abington (96-60), Washington College (101-51) and Coppin State (95-84) alongside single-digit losses to NJIT (66-64) and Mount St. Mary's (81-73).

- Wyoming transfer and 6-foot-4 guard Jacob Theodosiou leads Loyola at 15.1 ppg, 3.6 apg and 2.0 spg while 6-foot-9 forward Emmett Adair owns a team-high 5.2 rpg with 11.5 ppg. 6-foot-3 guard Braeden Speed is the third Greyhound to in double-figure scoring at 13.8 ppg.
- As a team, Greyhounds average 74.9 ppg and 43.8 FG% while holding opponents to 77.6 and 47.2 FG%.
- BU leads the all-time series, 20-8, after both home teams won by two points apiece last season.
- The Terriers are 4-1 over the last five meetings, which have been decided by a combined 12 points with one of them going to overtime.
- One year ago at Case Gym, junior Kyrone Alexander faced a 66-63 deficit and scored the game's final five points over the final 72 seconds with the go-ahead bucket taking place at 25 seconds. He finished with a game-high 20 points.
- In the last matchup at Reitz Arena, BU went 2-for-4 at the free throw line in the final 40 seconds and missed the go-ahead 3-point attempt before the buzzer sounded in a 69-67 defeat. The Greyhounds tripled the Terriers in made 3-pointers, 9-3.
LOOKING AHEAD
- The Terriers return home to host Lafayette on Wednesday (Jan. 21) at 6 p.m. following an 83-67 road victory back on Jan. 7.
- McNair totaled a career-high 29 points with help of five 3-pointers off eight attempts.
- BU shot 53.4 FG% and held the Leopards to 45.9 FG% with a 42-28 advantage in rebounds and 10-3 lead in made 3-pointers.
