BOSTON – Ahead of Winter Storm Fern's arrival in Boston later in the weekend, the Boston University women's basketball program hosts Colgate for Alumni Day on Saturday (Jan. 24). Opening tip is set for 2 p.m.

BU (6-12, 2-5 PL) seeks its first home victory during Patriot League play, having captured its two wins in the Lehigh Valley area to this point. The Terriers have lost their last two home contests by a combined two points.

Colgate (5-13, 1-6 PL) looks to halt its six-game losing and has lost 13 of its previous 14 matchups after starting 4-0 this year. The Raiders are 2-7 on the road in 2025-26.

Saturday's game airs on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Jack Hughes and Claire Chen on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.

Prior to the game, the program will host its annual Alumni Game. Terrier graduates ranging from the 1980s to 2025 will attend the game and be recognized on the court during the first half.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU defeated Lafayette on the road, 66-55, on Jan. 21.
The Terriers never trailed in the contest, shooting 50 percent from the field while holding a commanding 42-22 edge in paint points.
Senior Anete Adler set career highs with 27 points and 16 rebounds while adding four blocks.
Classmate Anastasiia Semenova added 15 points and seven boards while sophomore Hildur Gunnsteinsdóttir and junior Bella McLaughlin dished out eight and seven assists, respectively.
The Terriers have shot 50 percent or better in four consecutive games. That last occurred from Jan. 8-18, 2023, which was also during Patriot League play.
Semenova is the conference leader during Patriot League action with a .593 field goal percentage.
Adler is third at 55.7 percent while pacing her counterparts in blocks per game (1.9). She also ranks fourth with 16.3 points per game and seventh with 8.4 rebounds per contest.
BU is 5-2 this season when scoring at least 60 points, but 1-10 when scoring less.

SCOUTING COLGATE

The Raiders won their Patriot League opener over Lafayette, 63-57, before losing their next six games.
Ella Meabon leads Colgate with 14.6 points per game and 37 assists.
Third Team All-Patriot League selection Anne Bair has not appeared in a game since Nov. 23.
Colgate was projected to finish sixth in the Patriot League preseason poll under first-year head coach Shannon Bush.
Last season, the Raiders went 23-10 and 13-5 in conference play, reaching the Patriot League quarterfinal round and appearing in the WNIT.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday marks the 33rd all-time meeting between BU and Colgate in a series that began in 1989.
The Terriers sport a 20-12 edge in the rivalry, though the Raiders have won three of the last four matchups.
At home, BU is 9-5.
Colgate swept the regular season series in 2024-25, capturing 61-49 and 71-51 victories.
Inés Monteagudo Pardo scored 10 points in both contests, shooting 50 percent from three-point range. Sisi Bentley dropped 17 points in the Feb. 15 contest.
