Women’s Basketball Squares Off Against Bucknell on Saturday

BOSTON – Halfway through the 2025-26 Patriot League schedule, the Boston University women's basketball team welcomes Bucknell to Case Gym on Saturday (Jan. 31). Opening tip is set for 2 p.m.
BU (7-13, 3-6 PL) enters the weekend tied for seventh in the Patriot League standings. The Terriers seek their second consecutive win in Boston after defeating Colgate last weekend, 58-54.
Bucknell (6-14, 2-7 PL) is just 1-9 on the road in 2025-26. Its lone victory came at Hofstra on Nov. 22; since then, the Bison have lost six straight away from Lewisburg, Pa.
Saturday's game airs on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Jack Hughes and Claire Chen on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available through GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.
BU is hosting its Team IMPACT Day at Case Gym. The program will recognize their Team IMPACT teammate, Serena, during the pregame festivities while additional matches from other Terrier programs will attend the game.

- BU sustained a 57-47 road loss at first-place Navy on Jan. 28.
- The Terriers forced the Midshipmen to shoot under 35 percent and 18.2 percent from three-point range, but committed 18 turnovers and were outscored 37-28 in the second half.
- Senior Anete Adler led all scorers with 23 points and shared the team lead with classmate Anastasiia Semenova with nine rebounds.
- Adler is one of four Patriot League student-athletes averaging at least 17 points per conference game.
