BOSTON – Halfway through the 2025-26 Patriot League schedule, the Boston University women's basketball team welcomes Bucknell to Case Gym on Saturday (Jan. 31). Opening tip is set for 2 p.m.

BU (7-13, 3-6 PL) enters the weekend tied for seventh in the Patriot League standings. The Terriers seek their second consecutive win in Boston after defeating Colgate last weekend, 58-54.

Bucknell (6-14, 2-7 PL) is just 1-9 on the road in 2025-26. Its lone victory came at Hofstra on Nov. 22; since then, the Bison have lost six straight away from Lewisburg, Pa.

Saturday's game airs on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Jack Hughes and Claire Chen on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available through GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.

BU is hosting its Team IMPACT Day at Case Gym. The program will recognize their Team IMPACT teammate, Serena, during the pregame festivities while additional matches from other Terrier programs will attend the game.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU sustained a 57-47 road loss at first-place Navy on Jan. 28.
The Terriers forced the Midshipmen to shoot under 35 percent and 18.2 percent from three-point range, but committed 18 turnovers and were outscored 37-28 in the second half.
Senior Anete Adler led all scorers with 23 points and shared the team lead with classmate Anastasiia Semenova with nine rebounds.
Adler is one of four Patriot League student-athletes averaging at least 17 points per conference game.
She has made 50.2 percent of her baskets on 466 attempts in 55 games as a Terrier. That percentage is fourth in program history as of writing.
Three Terriers rank inside the top-eight in the Patriot League in three-point percentage: junior Inés Monteagudo Pardo (second – 42.9 percent), and sophomores Rose Azmoudeh (seventh – 39.2 percent) and Hildur Gunnsteinsdóttir (eighth – 38.3 percent).
In their last five games, the Terriers have assisted on 80.5 percent of their field goals (91 of 113). That included a 94.4 percent clip at Navy (17 of 18).
Under fifth-year head coach Melissa Graves, BU is 50-23 at Case Gym.

SCOUTING BUCKNELL

The Bison have alternated wins and losses in their last five contests, most recently falling at Lafayette, 65-56, on Jan. 28.
Bucknell's league wins came against Colgate (Jan. 17) and Loyola Maryland (Jan. 24).
Tuana Coskun leads the Bison with 12.8 points per game. Elana Weisman averages 10.4 points per game as well.
Bucknell was projected to finish seventh in the Patriot League preseason poll.
Last season, the Bison reached the Patriot League semifinals, posting a 17-14 overall record and going 11-7 in conference play.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday marks the 23rd all-time meeting between BU and Bucknell in a series that began in 2014.
The Bison sport a 15-7 edge in the rivalry, winning four in a row.
At home, the Terriers are 4-7, with their last win taking place on Jan. 2, 2023.
Bucknell swept the regular season series last year with 74-59 and 67-63 decisions.
Adler and Gormley averaged 14 and 13 points, respectively, in those two contests for the Terriers.
