Women’s Basketball To Host Education Day Against Lafayette

BOSTON – Playing at Case Gym for the first time in the 2026 calendar year, the Boston University women's basketball program hosts Lafayette on Wednesday (Jan. 7). Opening tip at The Roof is set for 11:30 a.m.
BU (4-9, 0-2 PL) vies for its first Patriot League win this season. The Terriers are averaging 63 points per game at home on 44.4 percent shooting.
Lafayette (5-8, 1-1 PL) recently snapped a five-game losing streak. The Leopards are 3-6 on the road this year, but have lost four in a row outside of Easton, Pa.
The Terriers host their second annual Education Day, welcoming over 400 students from Boston Public Schools to Case Gym. In addition, rally towels are available for fans at the marketing table.
Wednesday's game also airs on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Reed Keller and Jack Hughes on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.

- BU sustained a 53-45 loss at American last Saturday (Jan. 3).
- The Terriers led 11-6 after one quarter, but were outscored 22-4 in the second frame and could not pull within fewer than five points from that point.
- Senior Anete Adler led the Terriers with 12 points while adding five rebounds and three blocks.
- Junior Sisi Bentley added six points with a team-best eight rebounds.
- Adler is one of 12 Patriot League student-athletes scoring at least 13 points per game on the campaign.
- BU is one of three Patriot League teams allowing less than 60 points per game this season. Army West Point and Bucknell are the other teams.
