Women’s Soccer Opens October Slate at Lafayette

BOSTON – Playing the first of five matches in October, the Boston University women's soccer program heads to Lafayette on Sunday, Oct. 4. Opening kick from Gummeson Grounds is set for 2 p.m.
BU (5-6-1, 2-1-0 PL) enters the month tied with Navy and Lafayette (3-4-4, 2-1-0 PL) for third place in the Patriot League standings with six points. The Terriers are vying for their third consecutive road win.
The Leopards are 1-1-3 at home this season, with their last win coming on Aug. 30. Since then, one or fewer goals have decided all six of Lafayette's matches.
