BOSTON – With less than a month remaining in the 2025-26 regular season, the Boston University women's basketball program heads to Loyola Maryland on Saturday (Feb. 7). Opening tip from Reitz Arena is set for 2:30 p.m.

BU (7-15, 3-8 PL) is in the second leg of a five-game span that features four road contests. The Terriers look to halt their three-game losing streak and capture their first road victory since Jan. 21.

Loyola Maryland (9-13, 5-6 PL) is 3-6 in Baltimore this season. The Greyhounds sit alone in fifth place in the Patriot League standings, two games ahead of BU.

Saturday's game airs on ESPN+ with live statistics available through Loyola's athletic department. The Patriot League will provide an international stream.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU sustained a 60-46 loss at Holy Cross on Feb. 2.
Despite forcing 16 Crusader turnovers, the Terriers coughed up 18 giveaways while shooting just 15 percent from distance in a game they never led.
Three Terriers scored eight points: junior Bella McLaughlin as well as sophomores Hildur Gunnsteinsdóttir and Rose Azmoudeh.
Overall, BU's bench contributed 31 points, the most against a Division I foe this year.
The Terriers are ninth in the Patriot League, one game ahead of Colgate and one behind Lafayette, American and Bucknell. BU split the regular season series with the Leopards and faces the Eagles and Bison one more time this season.
BU has utilized 10 different starting lineups this season, surpassing last year's total.
During conference play, the Terriers rank first in the Patriot League with a .445 field goal percentage and 4.09 blocks per game. They're second with a .330 three-point percentage, +4.2 rebounding margin and 15 assists per game.
Senior Anete Adler ranks top 10 during that span in four categories: field goal percentage (second – 53 percent), blocks per game (second – 1.6), points per game (fourth – 16.5) and rebounds per game (seventh – 7.7).

SCOUTING LOYOLA MARYLAND

Since their win over the Terriers on Jan. 17, the Greyhounds have lost four of five games.
Loyola Maryland is 2-3 in home matchups against Patriot League competition.
Lex Therien continues to lead the Greyhounds with 16.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
After returning from injury, Kimmie Hicks has averaged 10.8 points in four conference contests.
Loyola Maryland has allowed just 28.5 rebounds per game during league action, the fewest amount among its counterparts.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday marks the 27th all-time meeting between BU and Loyola Maryland.
The Terriers sport a 17-9 edge in the rivalry. Each team has won three of the last six matchups.
On the road, BU is 7-4 against Loyola.
The Greyhounds were victorious, 56-55, in Boston back on Jan. 17.
Junior Inés Monteagudo Pardo and senior Anastasiia Semenova each dropped 12 points, but Therien sank the game-deciding layup on an inbound with under 12 seconds left in regulation to finish with 21 points.
