- BU will look to add onto its two-game win streak on Tuesday when hosting Harvard, after defeating Navy 2-0 on Saturday. The victory over the Midshipmen marks the first time since the 2004 season that the Terriers have collected four consecutive clean sheets.
- Four Boston University men's soccer student-athletes earned Patriot League weekly honors on Monday. Freshman Guillem Vila Ametller earned his second Rookie of the Week honor, along with seniors Andrea Di Blasio and Ben Alexander who earned Forward and Goalkeeper of the Week for the second consecutive time. Junior Dylan Williams was named Midfielder of the Week, earning his first career Patriot League nod.
- In the 12th minute of Saturday's match, Di Blasio connected with assists from junior Jack Grossman and Williams to fire the game-winner into the back of the net. He now leads the Patriot League in game-winning goals with two while ranking second in overall goals with three on the year.Â
- Alexander made six saves en-route to his fourth consecutive clean sheet on Saturday, marking the ninth of his career and his fifth at BU.
- Williams recorded an assist on Di Blasio's game-winning goal against Navy, before securing the 2-0 victory with his first career goal in the 57th minute. The junior midfielder is tied for first in the Patriot League in assists with three on the season.
- Navy outshot BU 14-9 overall, but the Terriers had a 5-3 advantage on shots in the second half.
- With the win over Navy, the Terriers have their best start to Patriot League play since the 2023 season when they went 2-0 to open the conference schedule.
- Harvard currently ranks seventh in the Ivy League standings, coming off a 2-0 loss to UNH last Tuesday in Durham, N.H. Harvard outshot UNH 3-2 in the first half, while attempting five shots in the second.
