Robert Marquis
Sport: Ice Hockey
Year Graduated: 1960
Year Inducted: 1967

When Harry Cleverly discovered Bob playing high school hockey on Canadian ice he was impressed by his speed, skating and scoring ability.

In his three years on Varsity at Boston University, he managed to score 98 goals (which remains a record as one of the top number of goals in a career) and rake in 164 points. He was selected on the All-America Teams as a sophomore and junior. In his senior year, Bob led the Terriers to third place in the NCAA championship. Despite the fact that he was the top scorer he was overlooked as a first string All-American, which caused great controversy.

When Bob graduated in 1960 he passed up an opportunity to join the National Hockey League to work with General Electric.
