Kenney Named a Third-Team Field Hockey All-American

BOSTON - (Nov. 22) Junior midfielder Robyn Kenney (Whitehouse Station, NJ) was named to the Astroturf/ National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-America Third Team.
Kenney was already named to the All-Northeast Regional First Team, and to the All-America East First Team.
The Whitehouse Station native consistently defended opposing teams' best offensive players, as the Terriers took on several of the nations top programs, including Wake Forest, Old Dominion, and Connecticut. She also added three goals and four assists for 10 points.
Kenney's performance this season helped lead Boston University to a 17-6 record, tying a team record for most wins in a season. The Terriers were a perfect 8-0 in conference play, earning the America East regular-season and tournament championships.
The Terriers made their sixth trip to the NCAA Tournament, where they bowed to Massachusetts in overtime, 2-1, on November 13 at Storrs, CT.
A 1997 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Kenney is currently enrolled in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
