Women's Tennis Edged By Dartmouth

Despite a strong efforts by sophomores Lindsey Dynof (Colt's Neck, NJ) and Elena deMendoza (Madrid, Spain), the Boston University women's tennis team fell to Dartmouth, 4-3, on Friday (March 29) at the Boss Tennis Center.
The pair began by knocking out Dartmouth's Arden Fredeking and Lisa Borowsky in number two doubles, 8-1. Dynof then defeated the Big Green's Carly Bashleben, 6-3, 6-1, followed by deMendoza overcoming Fredeking, 6-3, 6-4, in number two and three singles respectively.
Junior Alana Marcu (Leonia, NJ) tied the score up at three when she beat Catherine Crandall in number five singles, 6-4, 6-4. In the final match, sophomore Elisa Glas (Irun, Spain) couldn't hold on as she lost in three sets to Borowsky in the tie-breaker, 7-6 (7-3), 7-5.
The Terriers will host Temple on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00am.
