Women's Tennis Advances To Championship Match

NEW HAVEN, Conn - Seven-time defending champion Boston University advanced to the America East Women's Tennis Championship match with a convincing 7-0 semifinal win over Vermont at the Connecticut Tennis Center on Saturday, April 27.
B. U. will face conference newcomer Stony Brook in the championship. The Terriers and Seawolves will meet Sunday at 9 a.m., weather permitting or 10:30 a.m. if the match is moved indoors.
The top-seeded Terriers posted a 7-0 win over Vermont. Christina Causway, Lindsey Dynof, Elena deMendoza, Silvia Guglielmi, Alana Marcu and Elisa Glas all had straight-set wins in singles. Causway and Dynof, deMendoza and Guglielmi and Marcu and Glas teamed for the doubles wins.
