Trudel, Lang Earn Inside Lacrosse All-America Honors

BALTIMORE - Sophomore midfielder Alyssa Trudel (Shoreham, VT) earned Division I Second Team All-America honors as announced by Inside Lacrosse on Saturday, May 24. Junior defender Sasha Lang (Cornish, NH) joined Trudel as a Third Team selection.
The America East Player of the Year, Trudel led the conference and ranked fourth in the nation in scoring with a single-season program record 86 points off 44 goals and 42 assists.
In 2003, Lang served as the Terriers' top markdown defender in 2003. She anchored a defensive corps that led the nation in lowest goals allowed per game (6.32). Starting all 19 games, Lang totaled 38 draw controls, 32 caused turnovers, and 32 ground balls on the defense while chipping in nine goals and one assist on the attack.
Fifth-year senior Suzanne Eyler of Loyola is the Offensive Player of the Year. The University of Virginia's Lauren Aumiller is the Midfielder of the Year and UVa fifth-year senior Tiffany Schummer takes the Defensive Player of the Year honors. The University of Maryland's Alexis Venechanos is the Goaltender of the Year.
Chris Sailer wins Coach of the Year after leading Princeton to a second straight national title.
